— Justice Accelerator 2024
This program provides startups with a four-month program that includes €10,000 in non-equity seed funding, and business development support (training, coaching, and mentorship).
— Africa’s Business Heroes 2024
This program aims to identify, support, and inspire the next generation of African entrepreneurs who are making an impact in their local communities, working to solve the most pressing problems, and building a more sustainable and inclusive economy for the future.
Selected participant will receive grant funding, training programs, and broader support for the broad African entrepreneurial ecosystem.
— TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200
This initiative seeks to provide 200 early-stage founders with access to exclusive workshops, investor office hours, mentorship, training, perks, and free exhibition space. 20 founders will then be selected for the Startup Battlefield competition, for a chance to win $100,000 and the coveted Disrupt Cup.
— Call for Women-Led Healthcare Startups in Africa
This is an initiative to support women innovating in healthcare. The selected companies will go through a 6-month incubation program during which they will be offered customised support based on their needs as well as funding.
— Unicorn Kingdom: Pathfinder Awards
This is an initiative of the UK's Department for Business and Trade (DBT) to unearth and showcase the most promising scale up companies in the tech industry. Winners will receive a tailor-made programme in the UK, including meetings with leading industry and government sector specialists and invitations to VIP events and receptions.

— Moove raised $100 million in a Series B round led by Uber. The mobility fintech startup will use the funds to expand into new markets. Read more
— Kuda has secured payment licences in Canada and Tanzania as it prepares to expand across Africa and outside the continent. Read more
— OurPass is set to acquire a microfinance banking (MFB) license. This will enable the startup, which pivoted to business banking on 2022, to directly offer financial services to its customers. Read more
— Zone has raised its first-ever VC round - an $8.5 million investment co-led by Flourish Ventures and TLcom Capital. The blockchain startup will use the fund to grow and expand. Read more
